MODEL RAILWAY SHOW - MAY 17TH/18TH

Our popular Model Railway Weekend returns on May 17th/18th.

Our good friends in Twickenham & District Model Railway Club will be
bringing a selection of working layouts plus their ever popular
secondhand stall will be selling models and books. There will be five
layouts in N, OO, G scales. Plus there will be a vintage O gauge
tinplate layout to bring back memories for our older visitors and a
"Drive-a-Train" layout for our younger visitors to run themselves. The
Club will also be showing a display entitled "Rocket to Evening Star" -
a presentation showing the evolution of the steam locomotive from 1825
to 1961when the last steam loco was built in Britain. It is hoped that
the Club's own "Model Railway Doctor" will be on hand to help bring
dead model locos back to life - so don't forget to bring something
along and he'll try to fix it for you.
