Work in Progress

The restoration of the Mercury Arc Rectifier is complete and the units are now operational.

The cleanup of the ram floor of engine 7 is almost complete.

The rebuild / refurb of the second air pump has been completed.

A new sink and service complex has been installed.

Engine 6 has undegone a complete oil change.

Currently the following is taking place on Sundays.

• Refurbishment of the No. 7 barring engine.
• Painting continues.
• Minor repairs (as noted during past steamings) continue.

Museum News

• A refurbished food service area has been completed.
• Additional exhibits have been introduced.
