Steaming Weekends

Number 6 Engine will be “in Steam” on the following weekends. Details of the events, as noted, will be found on the events page.

April 17^th & 18^th 2010 (plus a display of Model Steam Engines)
May 15^th &16^th 2010 (plus Model Railways and Stationary Engines outside)
June 19 ^th & 20^th 2010 (plus Interesting Cars on SUNDAY 20th ONLY)
July 17^th & 18^th 2010 (plus Special Events for Children)
September 18^th &  19^th  2010 (plus Model Boats)
October 16^th & 17^th 2010 (plus Veteran Vehicles only on the 17^th)
November  20^th & 21^th 2010 (plus Arts Crafts and Hobbies) 

Please note that the engine house guided tour is too risky for children who are less than 1.4 m (56 in) talll; we are sorry about this, but we are adamant about it.

Hours: From 11am to 4pm, last steaming at 3pm.
Prices: Adults £6.00, OAPs £5.00. Children (under 16) free. The main gate will be manned.

Static Displays and Guided Tours

No steam, alas; The engine is static.
Every Tuesday and Thursday -- our volunteer working days (except December ) .
Guided Tours over the Engines are FREE, though donations are gratefully accepted.
Hours: From 11am to 4pm.
Prices Adults £4.00, OAPs £3.00. Children (under 16) free
The main gate will not be manned, so please press the 'Trust' button so we can let you in.
